Días antes del debate, su hija, Chelsea Clinton hacía pública una carta en la que mostraba su apoyo hacia su madre. Tras el debate ha sido su marido y expresidente de los Estados Unidos, Bill Clinton, quien ha querido expresar públicamente y a través de correo electrónico, su orgullo y satisfacción por el papel desempeñado por su mujer en el debate. “Ella sería un presidente increíble”, escribe.

“Hillary tiene grandes planes para nuestro futuro. Se imagina un país donde las mujeres se les paga lo mismo que los hombres, donde las familias pueden permanecer juntos sin temor de ser separados, donde el cuidado de la salud y de la universidad grados son asequibles, y las armas son más difíciles de obtener en sus manos.”

Con estas palabras pide Bill Clinton el voto por su mujer y volver así, juntos, a ocupar la Casa Blanca.
