Las primeras reacciones de la nueva película del Escuadrón Suicida alimentan expectativas

Con solo unas semanas antes del estreno de The Suicide Squad tanto en los cines como en HBO Max, las críticas negativas han disminuido con respecto a la próxima película de antihéroes de DC que se estrenará el 6 de agosto en EE UU. 

Dirigida y escrita por James Gunn, El Escuadrón Suicida continúa con una banda de villanos y malhechores inadaptados mientras el personaje Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) intenta luchar contra ellos para una nueva misión conocida como "Proyecto Estrella de Mar" en la isla de Corto Maltés. Por supuesto, poner a la Task Force X en cualquier situación conducirá a un montón de caos. 

Además de Davis, la película está protagonizada por Margot Robbie como Harley Quinn, Idris Elba como Bloodsport, Jai Courtney como el Capitán Boomerang, Sylvester Stallone como la voz de King Shark, John Cena como Pacificador, Joel Kinnaman como Rick Flag, Peter Capaldi como el Pensador, David Dastmalchian como Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior como Ratcatcher 2, Michael Rooker como Savant, Alice Braga como Sol Soria, Pete Davidson como Richard "Dick" Hertz, Nathan Fillion como TDK, Sean Gunn como Weasel, Flula Borg como Javelin y Mayling Ng como Mongal.

Ahora bien, con la película preparada para estrenarse en cuestión de semanas, es hora de averiguar qué piensan los críticos. ¿Es esta entrega del Escuadrón Suicida mucho más alocada que su predecesora con David Ayer al timón, o no está a la altura de todas las expectativas después de todo? Si nos guiamos por estas reacciones, parece que Gunn está aprovechando al máximo la calificación R en esta película de DC, pero también cae en mucha honestidad junto con la acción increíblemente violenta.

Yeah, I loved #TheSuicideSquad. Just delightfully, gleefully goes all out with mayhem, gore, profanity and naughtiness but then has some really heartfelt moments that you can invest in. And I loved the whole cast a whole lot.
